Scott Ostrander (b. 1987) is an American composer of concert, solo/chamber, and choral music. Since a young age, Scott has been fascinated by the role of music in life and its effect on the human experience. He began playing the trumpet at age 10, composed his first music in high school, and later studied trumpet performance and composition at Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, IL. He is a native of Indiana, but currently lives in Cary, Illinois.
